Description:
Softrase developed “Ride Me” as a complete taxi-booking application with two roles: passenger and driver. Together with our team, we planned every feature to ensure a seamless and transparent ride-hailing experience.
Passenger App:
Google login allows for quick access. The homepage features an interactive map where the passenger selects pickup and destination points. After selection, a list of available vehicle types (e.g., standard, comfort, luxury) with pricing is displayed. Once booked, the passenger receives an overview containing driver details, license plate, driver rating, estimated arrival time, and ride specifics (route, duration, price). The ride can be cancelled before the driver begins the trip. The passenger chooses the payment method (cash or online/credit card). We also added: trip history, driver rating (stars + comments), an emergency button, favorite locations, and a price estimate feature (guest mode).
Driver App:
The driver registers and uploads their vehicle information and required documents (license, insurance, registration). After verification, the driver receives a homepage to toggle their status (online/offline). When a ride is booked, the driver receives a notification with pickup, destination, price, and customer rating, with options to accept or skip. Upon acceptance, the driver sees route details on a map with navigation. An integrated chat allows communication with the passenger. We added: daily/monthly income statistics, trip history, document status tracking, and a support chat.
The app helps both user groups answer the three most important questions in under 10 seconds: Who am I? What can I do? Why should I use this app? (Simplicity, transparency, security). It replaces manual coordination with a fully digital process.
